On 17 June 2026, fourteen newly admitted colleagues took the advocate's oath before the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, Aigars Strupišs: Ērika Gribonika, Justīne Ignatavičute, Pāvels Jašniks, Agate Lasmane, Kristers Toms Losāns, Seila Mieze, Pēteris Mors, Elīza Siliņa, Ansis Spridzāns, Staņislavs Sviderskis, Gabriela Šantare, Toms Tīdemanis, Elīna Vilde and Jānis Zeltiņš.
By taking the oath, the colleagues pledged to be loyal to Latvia; to uphold the laws of the state conscientiously and according to their convictions; to show respect for the courts and public authorities; not to write or say anything in the course of their professional activities that could be detrimental to the state, society, the family or public morality; to perform the duties of a sworn advocate honestly; to safeguard the interests of their clients and of the persons whose cases they conduct; and to remain mindful that an advocate is accountable before the law for their actions.
