Newly admitted advocates give oath on 17th December 2020

On 17.12.2020. 10 newly admitted advocates – Santa Oborenko, Nataļja Puriņa, Katrīna Salmgrieze, Raivis Stumbergs, Pāvels Tjuševs, Līva Upīte, Marta Urbāne, Daina Zaķe, Raivis Znotiņš, Antra Zomerovska gave the oath to the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Atis Strupišs.

They swore to be faithful to Latvia, to observe the State laws in good faith and with conviction, to treat the courts and national authority with respect, not to write and speak anything in their work as an advocate that could harm the State, society, family and morality, to honestly fulfil the duties of a sworn advocate, to defend the interests of their authorising persons or the interests of such persons whose cases they conduct, aware that they shall be liable for their actions before the Law.

On 11.12.2020. 10 newly admitted advocates – Zane Akermane, Igors Dambrāns, Gatis Gailis, Kristīne Jarinovska, Kalvis Krūmiņš, Lauris Ķesteris, Eva Ķibermane, Gunta Miltiņa, Iveta Nikolājeva and Karīna Palkova gave the oath to the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Aigars Strupišs.

On 05.12.2019. 13 newly admitted advocates – Marija Berdova, Kristīne Čichuta, Anete Dimitrovska, Aigars Gozītis, Inese Greķe, Svetlana Iskrova, Līva Kalniņa, Marija Neronova, Henrijs Niedra, Ivars Pommers, Jānis Pušpurs, Māris Simulis, Agita Sprūde – gave the oath to the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Ivars Bičkovičs.

They swore to be faithful to Latvia, to observe the State laws in good faith and with conviction, to treat the courts and national authority with respect, not to write and speak anything in their work as an advocate that could harm the State, society, family and morality, to honestly fulfil the duties of a sworn advocate, to defend the interests of their authorising persons or the interests of such persons whose cases they conduct, aware that they shall be liable for their actions before the Law.

Advocates receive Judicial system badges of honour

Team of the Latvian Collegium of Sworn Advocates wins second place in the International Advocates' Football Tournament

The team of the Latvian Collegium of Sworn Advocates has successfully participated in the International Advocates' Football Tournament, which took place in Vilnius, Lithuania on September 7 and was dedicated to the memory of sworn advocate Diāna Strauta, winning the honourable second place in the 6 team competition.

Today 5 newly admitted advocates – Semjons Fogels, Ivars Girgensons, Katrīne Pļaviņa, Rolands Valdemārs and Edvijs Zandars – gave the oath to the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Ivars Bičkovičs.

They swore to be faithful to Latvia, to observe the State laws in good faith and with conviction, to treat the courts and national authority with respect, not to write and speak anything in their work as an advocate that could harm the State, society, family and morality, to honestly fulfil the duties of a sworn advocate, to defend the interests of their authorising persons or the interests of such persons whose cases they conduct, aware that they shall be liable for their actions before the Law.

The 23rd Advocates' tennis championship has been successfully held

03.06.2019

On June 2 the 23rd Advocates' tennis championship took place in tennis courts "Mežaparks" with the participation of 14 advocates.

In men's competition Jānis Kulbergs remained unbeaten and got the cup for the second time, while the silver went to Ivars Grunte. In the competition for the third place Pāvels Tjuševs won Ilmārs Krūms. In ladies' competition Lelde Laviņa became the champion, leaving Evita Kaužēna in the second and Inese Lazdovska in the third place.

We congratulate the colleagues and thank the organizers and sponsors - law office "TGS Baltic", Jānis Kumsārs and Osvalds Sausverds.

Team of the Latvian Collegium of Sworn Advocates participates in Tet Riga marathon 2019

On May 19, the team of the Latvian Collegium of Sworn Advocates for the eighth year in a row participated in Tet Riga marathon.

The Latvian Council of Sworn Advocates congratulates colleagues and their family members who defended the honor of the Bar - Andris Kluss, Pēteris Kušners, Jekaterina Kasjanova, Artūrs Gēgeris, Aleksandrs Serovs, Uģis Ūsiņš, Ansis Spridzāns, Aivars Zvīdris, as well as colleagues who started individually, and thanks Jevgēnija Tverjanoviča - Bore for organization of the team.
